4th of July Parade

Going Back to the Good Old Days
Entrants are strongly encouraged to come on decorated bicycles, tricycles or as pedestrians. Golf carts, cars, motorcycles and horses are also welcome (provided the horses have a clean-up crew with them).

Parade entrants should line up in the church parking lot of Sts. Peter & Paul Church
(at Bridge & Castell streets). It will be “first come, first served” in the following order:
(1) pedestrians/bicycles, (2) motorcycles, (3) cars, (4) horses. Antique cars will form a static display in the area around the Courthouse and NBU. Contact Dean Stull at (830) 626-6762 for more information about the antique car display. |

Parade begins in the Sts. Peter & Paul Church parking lot, goes down Castell St, left on San Antonio St, continues around the Plaza ¾ of the way, turning right on Seguin (between the Courthouse & Crosswalk Coffeehouse. Parade disbands after the Courthouse at Seguin & Mill streets. Entrants will want to quickly return to the Plaza for the program. |

Businesses can be advertised; no political ads for candidates. |

No judging of entries or awards this year. |

Porta-potties will be available. |

To enter please call The Sophienburg at (830) 629-1572 or e-mail: sophienburg@sbcglobal.net. There is no deadline to sign-up. |

Businesses in the Plaza are open for refreshments. If someone wants to set up a stand to sell something, they must contact the city for a food permit. |
